WEST-RU Upgrades to ISO 9001:2015 Standard

The external audit conducted in August and September 2018 by the international certification center “TUV International RUS” confirmed the compliance of the WEST-RU Quality Management System with the ISO 9001: 2015 international standard requirements.

Implantation of the new standard is a new step of the Company’s development. It confirms the interest in providing quality services that meet the Customers’ expectations. This way, WEST-RU once again showed that it can lay claim to long-term competitiveness in the engineering services market.

The audit was being conducted for seven days in three offices of WEST-RU (Nizhny Novgorod, Togliatti, Fulda). The assessment of the compliance with the standard and QMS procedures covered a significant number of projects in the Company's main processes - the Body-In-White Design and the Die Design. TUV Representatives also checked the work of the service departments: HR, IT, purchasing and administrative departments.

Among WEST-RU’s strong points revealed by the audit, the following were mentioned in the report: - the increase in the Company's managing in tough market conditions due to the special Project Controlling System developed and implemented in WEST-RU and the automation of the Body-In-White Design processes through using macros for CAD applications.
