2000-2001 At the initiative of the company owners the first group of Russian engineers was trained modern design methods in Germany and Austria.
2001 The company was founded in 2001 in Nizhny Novgorod by a group of entrepreneurs. Along with the focus area of work (design of welding equipment) a work on the design of conveyor equipment for manufacturing and pulp and paper industry was conducted.
2003 The second office was opened in Togliatti.
2005 Following the example of the welding unit a die design department was opened in Nizhny Novgorod.
2007 A group of manufacturing Turn-key solutions was launched in Nizhny Novgorod.
2010 Renaming of the company: rebranding, creation of the WEST-RU Group of companies.
2016 WEST-RU Group has passed the voluntary certification of Quality Management System to ISO 9001 in area of the designing of body-in-white, transportation systems and dies.
